I fell in love with fishtail braids last year when Diane Kruger rocked a french-fishtail hybrid style at the Cannes photocall for Inglorious Basterds. The look is perfectly messy and sophisticated at the same time.

Ever since I saw those photos of her, I have wanted to try a fishtail braid on my own hair. And what better time to try it out than during the summer when braids do a great job of keeping your head cool?
